Best remote connectivity
Compared to traditional supervision, IPS Cloud has significant advantages in terms of remote connectivity; access to the platform is possible from various devices such as PCs, smartphones, and tablets. User management allows you to define the different access levels with related permissions. Moreover, multi-user connectivity allows an unlimited number of people to use the service simultaneously.
Innovative technology for graphics and features
The supervision platform operates totally disconnected from any locally installed HMI devices (human-machine interface) and does not use its resources. The graphics and functions made available to the user interact directly with the control system (e.g. PLC) of the plant or machine. The features can be customized according to the customer needs and a powerful and intuitive new-generation interface makes its usage very easy. The installation of the platform on the Cloud Service also guarantees high computing power and unlimited expandability of machine resources.
No system management work by the customer
IPS Cloud resides on a Cloud Provider, therefore no installation on local servers is required and no software to be installed on PCs. All updates relating to the operating system, platform upgrade, and security are automatic without the customer having to do anything; and without any service interruptions. On the Cloud, data backup is automatically and periodically performed, always guaranteeing maximum security in terms of confidentiality and reliability.
Security

IPS Cloud uses the most modern cryptographic protocols, through which it ensures the highest level of security and privacy of data and communications.
Through the use of high-level cybersecurity, the Cloud infrastructure ensures extremely effective protection against cyber attacks.
Service login is done through authentication, the credentials provided are unique and the user access level is defined by the assigned role.
Router IPS
To connect the IPS Cloud platform to the field controllers, a dedicated router is provided; which creates a secure connection via the Internet. This connection can be made using a wired, wifi, or 4G network. Protection systems can range from the creation of a VPN (virtual private network) tunnel to the use of communication protocols that allow keeping the communication ports closed in inbound and lightening the amount of traffic, like MQTT.
All devices connected via IP protocol to the LAN network of the IPS router are accessible from the platform.
The IPS router will be configured to adapt to the existing network, without requiring any changes to the customer. The device can be used with HTTP proxy also with authentication.
